International admissions

Demiroğlu Bilim University publishes its conditions for admitting students from abroad as a dated PDF announcement for each academic year rather than as a standing international-students section. The 2026-2027 announcement sets out who may and may not apply, the documents required, a non-refundable application fee, and a table of minimum scores for international school-leaving and entrance examinations. Applications are submitted in person or by post to the Student Affairs Department at Büyükdere Cad. No:120/1, 34394 Şişli, Istanbul; no online portal for international applicants is named. Applications are assessed by an Admission Commission made up of the deans and school directors, which may also hold an interview, and the announcement states that meeting the application conditions does not mean being accepted for placement.

• Notarised copy of the high school diploma, in English or Turkish; an equivalency certificate ('Denklik Belgesi') from the Turkish Ministry of National Education or a Turkish Embassy is required at registration
• Examination result documents, original or notarised copy: SAT taken within the last two years, or an equivalent such as GCE, ACT or Tawjihi
• Receipt for the non-refundable application fee, paid per department applied to into the university's Akbank Gayrettepe account in US dollars
• For Turkish citizens and blue-card holders: entry–exit records from the Police Directorate covering the high school period
• One photograph taken within the last six months
• TOEFL certificate, if held, for applicants to the English Nursing programme of the Florence Nightingale Hospital School of Nursing (PB 537, CB 203, iBT 74)
• Turkish proficiency certificate: TÖMER C1
• Applicants must exceed the minimum scores in Table 1 of the announcement; accepted examinations include Abitur, ACT, Afghan Konkurs, Syrian Baccalaureate, Azerbaijan DIM, Lebanese Baccalaureate, French Baccalaureate, Gaokao, GCE A Level, IB, Iranian high school diploma, Latvian/Lithuanian/Moldovan/Ukrainian Attestat, Maturita, Uzbek and Turkmen Attestat, Russian EGE, SAT 1, Saudi Qoadrat, Tawjihi and TR-YÖS
• TR-YÖS minimum scores out of 500: Faculty of Medicine 400, Faculty of Arts and Sciences / Faculty of Health Sciences 350, Florence Nightingale Hospital School of Nursing 300, associate degree programmes 250
• SAT 1 (Math + Critical Reading out of 1600): Medicine 1200 with at least 600 in Math; Faculty of Arts and Sciences / Faculty of Health Sciences 1000 with at least 500 in Math
• Applicants must be high school graduates or in their final year; Turkish citizens who completed all of secondary school in Türkiye or the TRNC are not eligible
